On May 30 2021, more than 50 alumni from the first and second PoliTong Program class of 2006 and 2007 attended the homecoming event and the preparatory meeting for founding the Tongji Alumni Association Branch of TJSIC.

Xu Yunxia, Vice President of TJSIC, held the preparatory meeting for founding the Tongji Alumni Association Branch of TJSIC with alumni representatives.

In the afternoon, alumni, leaders and teachers of TJSIC participated in homecoming-themed events. A gathering with alumni and professors in Italy was held through video connection, with representatives of the PoliTong project--Professors Pizzigoni and Sampietro from Polytechnic University of Milan and Prof. Settineri from Polytechnic University of Turin, who were delighted to see their former students now making great contributions to the society.

Events also included campus tour, games of quiz and photo sharing to celebrate the 114^th anniversary of their alma mater and the 15^th anniversary of the founding of TJSIC.
