The Stool Design and Making Workshop is held in Yunchou Building, Tongji University, on the weekends in October 2021.

The Workshop serves to promote comprehensive education and cultural atmosphere in Tongji University and cultivate the students' creative and aesthetic qualities. The core of the workshop is "Design through Making", which combines traditional handicrafts with contemporary digital processing technology, green design concepts and aesthetic education, emphasizing material perception, unity of structure and form, and the significance of hands-on making. Students will be able to train their aesthetic design skills, creative thinking and practical ability.
