In order to implement the consensus reached during the mutual visits of the leadership of Tongji University and Politecnico di Torino in early 2023, the Sino-Italian Campus organized online collaborative seminars on the cooperation between Politecnico di Torino and Tongji University's School of Automotive Studies and College of Transportation Engineering on May 11th and 18th, respectively.

Experts and professors from Tongji University’s School of Automotive Studies, College of Transportation Engineering, and Urban Mobility Institute were invited to the seminar, as well as teachers and doctoral students from Politecnico di Torino’s interdisciplinary research center, CARS@PoliTO (Center for Automotive Research and Sustainable Mobility). Together, they delved into cutting-edge topics and research achievements in relevant fields, further strengthening research cooperation between Tongji University and Politecnico di Torino and laying a foundation for academic exchange and collaboration among faculty members. The Sino-Italian Campus will continue to build a matrix of matched collaborative areas for teachers, establish an expert database for collaborative teams, facilitate substantive cooperation among teaching teams, and promote in-depth development of Sino-Italian academic exchanges.
