The Sino-Italian Design and Innovation Forum was held on November 27, 2020 at the Architectural Design and Research Institute of Tongji University. Representatives from the Consulate General of Italy in Shanghai, the Association of Italian Scholars in China (AAIIC) and the Foreign Affairs Office of Tongji University, as well as Italian innovative companies and academics from both countries, attended the forum to discuss the practice of design innovation in China and Italy in the fields of art, architecture, design, restaurant, fashion and academia etc. The key words of the forum were Sino-Italian relations and design innovation, with the aim of making design and innovation interact with each other and promote Sino-Italian co-development.
