The Exhibition Drawing and Design: Italian Patents and Creativity was held on April 28, 2010 at Tongji University. The exhibition features masterpieces from over a century of Italian industrial design from the collection of the Italian National Patent and Trademark Protection Office. The exhibits include models, original and valuable documents (drafts, drawings, patent certificates), films, advertisements, recordings, etc., covering many areas such as furniture, fashion, food and transport, most of which are iconic works of Italian product design and represent its highest-level standard. During the exhibition, a series of forums and competitions were also held on the theme of Sino-Italian cooperation in design entrepreneurship industry and intellectual property protection.
